The North Dakota High School Activities Association has updated their fan ejection policy. Additionally, schools can set more requirements if they so choose, as these are the minimum. Hopefully, this is a non-issue for the upcoming year. It can be found here: https://ndhsaa.com/spectator-ejection-policy

Welcome back to School! A few elementary school things to know: *We do not have an official registration day since we sent the pre-registration forms home last spring. Any new families may find forms on our website and go to the district office (high school) during their office hours or come in when the elementary school office opens August 11. Stop in after August 11 to fill out forms for student medications or individual needs. *Elementary Picture Day is August 12 from 7:20 am-2:30 pm in the elementary school gym. You may go directly to the north gym doors with your child to have their picture taken. If you cannot make it that day, retakes are on September 9. *The school supply lists are available on our website. We typically have donations of supplies if you have difficulties finding anything on the lists. *Elementary Open House will be August 18 from 3-4 PM for PreK-6. (Students who participate in at least 1 Gearing Up for Kindergarten session have their own special open house prior to this time.) *The first day of school is August 19! Families are welcome to take photos with their children and teachers on the first day at drop-off. *School begins each day at 8:30. Students are asked not to arrive before 8:00 am as we do not have staff to supervise them until 8. Breakfast starts at 8, and students may go to their classrooms beginning at 8:20. *Reminder that school dismissal is at 3:00 on Wednesdays, and 3:25 other days of the week. *We would like to ask for more help with activities and recognitions. Watch for a form with requests coming soon! *Best In Class preschoolers on Mondays and Tuesdays are full day and will follow the same schedule as K-6, including eating lunch at school. You may pack a lunch or pay for the school meal. *You may pay for student meals in either office prior to school starting. The free and reduced price application is available on our website. *Our student handbook is on our website and may answer many of your questions. A reminder that no personal student cellular devices are allowed bell-to-bell. This should not be a significant change for elementary students, but we will have pouches for their storage this year if they bring them to school. We are excited for a great year! Please contact Mrs. Fuller directly at the school via email or phone call with any questions. Michelle.fuller@k12.nd.us 701-463-2213

Fall Sports Start dates
xc
Good afternoon, I wanted to pass out a few dates coming up here at the high school since the calendar is quickly turning into August. We will have a registration for both new and returning students from 8-3 on August 4th and 5th. Most of the returning students took care of this at the end of last year. If you need any changes to your schedule you can stop in anytime and visit with Mr. Dangel or Mrs. Osterlund. If you are satisfied with your schedule you don't need to stop in. I'm also in the building this week from 7:30-3:30 everyday but Thursday, I will be here from 6am-11am. Sports fees and lunch money can be dropped off with Mrs. Chase. Please use separate checks if you are using this method of payment. On Tuesday August 12th, we will have a 7th grade orientation. Students with the last name A-K will go from 11-12 and students L-Z will go from 1-2. A letter was mailed out today with more information. If you are in fall sports, make sure you watch for all information coming out from Mrs. Iglehart about these activities. Reminder that sports physicals need to be completed and filed at the school before you can practice. Enjoy the rest of your summer and will see you all soon!!
