Region 5 Tournament Bracket. Let's go Lady Troopers

With the behavior that is happening at sporting events, the NDHSAA has updated their expectations of spectators at NDHSAA sponsored events. Garrison Public School will be enforcing these expectations at our home events. Thank you for supporting our teams and acting in a sportsman-like manner.

From the Galactix:
Due to the overwhelming demand for lolli-grams, we had to order a 2nd case which has not arrived yet. We will need to delay our delivery date to next Wednesday 2/22/23. We appreciate everyone’s support with this fundraiser and apologize for the delay in delivery. That being said you have a little more time if you still want to get some. See any Galactix dance team member by the end of the week.

We'd like to extend a special thank you to the West Dakota Waterfowlers for their $1,000 donation to our trap club. It's greatly appreciated.

Garrison Archery will be having a silent auction on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 8:00-4:00 at the high school. This will be in conjunction with our NASP Archery Tournament we are hosting on that day. All proceeds go to the archery club to help with keeping the program free for our students in grades 3-12.

Tomorrow's Girls Basketball Game in New Salem will be played at 6pm and 7:30! Best of Luck Lady Troop!🏀
It is National School Counseling Week! We are grateful to have Mrs. Ruud and Mrs. Hanson as our school counselors for our schools. They take care of so many tasks in our schools, but most importantly they take care of our students! Please take a moment to recognize and thank them for their work this week!

***Game Change***
Tomorrow, there will be NO JV game! Varsity Boys will play Berthold at 6. Come out and support your Troopers! Good Luck Boys!
All,
The small south bleachers will not be pulled out tonight due to mechanical issues. Should you require further review, please contact Dr. Klemisch. Thank you.

Dr. K. Here....
We received some fantastic news after years of hard work, dedication, and consistentcy from all of us who have worked tirelessly to make this happen. Bob Callies Elementary School is being recognized as a Title I High-Performing School.
The criteria for the Title I High Performing School highlights success within the top 5-10% of Title I schools based on North Dakota’s accountability framework in the school performance indicators.
Additional award criteria include:
-Demonstrated improvement during the last three years
-Fall with the top 10% of Title I schools experiencing growth in the performance indicators
-Have a significant number of economically disadvantaged students.
In addition to the recognition, the school is being awarded additional Title I funds ranging from $60-75,000. These funds can be used on any allowable Title I activity to help strengthen your current Title I program. The Title I awards program funds allow schools to innovate and expand educational experiences to meet learners’ needs. More information will be coming soon along with a formal press release from the state.
