This just in…We have the winners of the homecoming parade… 1st prize of $100 Garrison Band and 2nd prize $50 7th graders “lock up the royals”. Congrats!

FFA District Leadership Results: HIGHLIGHTS: ​Abbigail Zeiszler won the Employment Skills contest and advances to the State contest in November. Mackenzie Fuller earned 2nd place in the Prepared Public Speaking Contest and advances to the State Contest in November. Other Results: Kadin Kolden & Colton Iglehart took 3rd place silver in the Demonstration event. Alison Betz placed 3rd place silver in Extemporaneous Public Speaking. Charlotte Wilson earned silver in the Creed Public Speaking Contest. Parliamentary Procedure team placed bronze. Advanced Quiz team placed bronze Carter Hurt and Charlotte Wilson received bronze in the Greenhand Quiz contest. Congratulations and Good Work to all who participated!

Attached is a permission slip to attend the game on Friday. We are doing a permission slip because it requires attendees to miss school. Please return the form by Thursday at 3:30 pm.

Homecoming Parade is ready to roll!!

What an honor to have the Homecoming Royalty at the elementary school to greet our students on Spirit Day to round out Homecoming Week! Thank you to King Ty, Queen Madelin, and all members of the court for making their first official appearance in our school! You are all great role models for our students and we are so proud of you!

Tonight is blackout for the VB game versus Shiloh. Lots of activities taking place tonight with Coronation between the JV and Varsity game. If you plan to attend Coronation, try to be here by 6:30, but Coronation will start immediately following JV game. C squad starts at 5pm.

Two classroom portables for sale on sealed bids. One is 24'x36'3" and the other is 24'4"x 40'3". Both have finished interiors complete with heating and air conditioning. The units will be sold "as is" with buyer responsible for removal by no later than January 1, 2022. The buildings can be inspected by appointment by contacting Nick Klemisch at 701-463-2818. Garrison teachers are active participants in learning about Project Based Learning today during our in-service day.

On Monday, our school board approved new rules regarding household contacts specific to quarantines. Any student or staff member who is COVID positive must continue to quarantine. However, household contacts do not have to quarantine as long as they are neither asymptomatic with COVID nor do they have any symptoms. Please continue using the decision tree when to or when not to send students to school.

This just in... Karli Klein has set a new record for most kills in a Volleyball game. The new record stands at 27 ousting Haley Huesers who had 24. Congrats!

Members of the Garrison Cheer team greeted elementary students this morning as they entered the school for Cartoon Character Day of Homecoming Week! Thank you for being role models for our students!

Several members of our Trooper Volleyball team greeted elementary students at the door this morning during Decades Day of Homecoming Week! We wish them the best as they have a full schedule this week!
