Pro angler Jason Mitchell paid our 6th graders a visit today! He shared that “fishing is good for people. Go out on the lake. Anybody can get great at fishing. Fish don’t care what you look like.” He spoke about challenges with videography and signed some autographs! How cool!

The Garrison High School Prom will take place on Saturday April 20. Grand March will start at 7:30 with the dance to follow at 8pm. Mrs. Iglehart will be at the school on Saturday from 3-7 to take pictures. Students and their dates can arrive anytime for pictures, no appointment is necessary. All students should arrive at the school by 7pm to line up for Grand March. Mr. Dangel will arrive at the school and open doors at 6pm. Once you are checked in, students will not be able to leave. Doors will open to parents and spectators at 7:15pm. Masks will be worn by parents and spectators at the Grand March. Students will not be required to wear masks at the Grand March, but we will continue to follow the districts mask policy for the duration of Prom. Parents and spectators, we ask that you spread out in the bleachers the best you can. A Junior class picture and Senior class picture will take place after Grand March. We ask that parents and spectators exit the school after Grand March. Doors will be locked once everyone has left. Any students who leaves the dance will not be allowed back. The bus for Minot will load at 11:15 and we plan to depart shortly after. We look forward to a fun and exciting Prom for our students. Thank you for your support. If there are students who haven’t signed up for the after prom party, they still can. Please let Mr. Dangel now when you arrive at the school.
