Elementary Volleyball Jamboree on April 22nd in Wilton

***Revised Schedule*** Here is an updated schedule for the elementary boys jamboree in Wilton

Here's an opportunity for 3rd and 4th grade boys if anyone is interested in getting a team together.

Bob Callies Elementary Student Council is ready for nicer weather! They would like to encourage our elementary students to dress up in school-appropriate beach/summer clothing on Wednesday. We will still need to add our snow gear layers (coats, snow pants, boots) to go out for recess due to our playground conditions, but we will look ready for warm weather while we are indoors! We hope you can participate!

The upcoming Elementary Basketball Jamboree in Wilton 🏀🏀

Looking at next weeks HS sports schedules and the fact that we still have snow-covered fields and tracks throughout our region, all softball, baseball, and outdoor track meets have been postponed. We are looking to attend an indoor meet on the 13th for track, more details to come on that. Thank you for understanding. Everyone have a Happy Easter and enjoy your time spent with loved ones.
Today is the Elementary Science Fair!
Students will set up in their classrooms. The science fair projects on their Chromebooks will be accessible to parents and public for viewing between 12:30-2:00 PM.
Visitors should come to the main office to sign in. We require all visitors to wear a visitor badge in our school building.
All bus riders,
We will be starting school on time tomorrow. However, I also know many roads are not passable due to heavy drifting. Unfortunately, county plows were pulled before lunch and I do not believe they went back out. While I've attempted to meet with commissioners over Christmas break regarding these same issues, the problem continues. Therefore, our drivers will use their discretion when attempting any of these pickups. If you know it's not passable, please contact your driver tonight and they will meet you at the highway.
On a different note, the forecast next week looks promising. Knock on wood.
Dr. K.
Sorry kids, but you're going to school today! The blizzard warning has been reduced to a winter weather advisory. State highway plows are out in full force, but I'm told county plows will not be going today. We are sticking with the original plan starting school at 10:00 with staff reporting at 9:30. There will be no breakfast or PK this morning. For all bus riders, please contact your driver if your road is not accessible bearing in mind they use their discretion.
Dr. K.
All,
My apologies for the late notice as I'm trying to get to Bismarck. School will start at 10:00 am with staff reporting at 9:30. I've been in contact with officials from the state highway department and a variety of weather sources. The one thing weather people don't get wrong is the wind and it's supposed to blow. Buses will run where possible, no breakfast will be served, and no morning PK. A decision will be made by no later than 8:00 am should school be cancelled for the day.
Dr. K.
Please share!!!
Based on the forecast and now the storm expanding further into our district.... We will not have school on Tuesday. The eastern winds will make travel awful in the country throughout the day. Teachers have been instructed to provide independent enrichment activities for tomorrow, as we do not have e-learning. The decision to make up time is at the discretion of the board should they choose to do so. Stay safe and warm!
Dr. K.
