First District Health Unit is coming to Garrison Public School on Tuesday Oct 4. Please return the consent form to the school as soon as possible or by Sept 16th if you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine. Registration forms have been sent home with your child.
Reminder that Monday Sept 12 will be picture day at the High School. You will be able to purchase pictures with the event code on the brochure. Please don’t bring money to the school. Also, they use a Green Screen to allow you to personalize backgrounds, students and staff please don’t wear green. Thanks
Our Aggie Football players from Garrison are hosting a Hat Day Fundraiser tomorrow and Friday for an Aggie teammate and his family who tragically lost their home in a fire last night. The Elementary will be participating on Friday as well, but not Thursday. Each student can bring a dollar and the appropriate hat of their choice to wear throughout the day. There will also be a donation bucket in the office to help this family. 🧢👒🎩
Tomorrow's JH Volleyball game will be moved to Berhold at 5PM. Good Luck Girls!
Unofficial School Bond election results: 332 No and 180 yes. Unofficially, the bond has failed. The official results will be approved at our canvassing meeting on September 19. At this time, absentee ballots postmarked prior today will also be included.

The game at Standing Rock has been postponed to a later date. More importantly, our head coach, Tina Herr, has officially submitted her resignation effective immediately. We are working through these challenges because we believe our kids deserve our support. Brooke Walters has agreed to be our interim head coach.
There will be an elementary cross country race following the high school races on Thursday, Sept. 8 in Underwood at the golf course. The high school races start at 1:00 and the anticipated start time for the elementary race is 2:45. Parents are encouraged to take runners to the race. Coach Baer will have practice for those who chose not to go.

The school bond election will be Tuesday, September 6 starting at 7:00 am and closing at 7:00 pm at the high school. If approved, it will take a maximum of $5 million to go towards the building of an activity center, updating current locker rooms, and site improvements (parking lot). Only those who reside in the Garrison school district are eligible to vote. We encourage all those eligible to exercise their right to vote.

Congratulations to the following seniors who were nominated by their class to be the 2022 Homecoming Court. Mia G, Tyler H, Kaitlyn Z, Connor K, TJ S, and Karli K. This years coronation will take place on Sept 15 at the VB game vs Wilton Wing. Homecoming week will be the 19-23. We will have our Homecoming Parade on the 23rd starting about 1:45. More details to come.
The 21-22 Trooper yearbook is available for $40 in the high school office. If you placed an ad where you receive a free yearbook, they will be delivered within the week. Thanks for the support of our Trooper yearbook!

Parent Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled to October 27, 2022 and March 14, 2022 starting at 4:00 pm. This is a change to what was previously listed on our calendar. Please mark these dates down.

There will be a public forum on August 30, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the HS multipurpose room. You will hear updates on funding, ask general questions to the architect, and ask general questions about the bond. Please come if you'd like to learn more.
