5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball practice starts tomorrow at 5:30 at the Elementary Gym🏀
We will be offering a screening on Aug. 25 to all children who were 3, 4, or 5 years of age prior to this date. If you are interested, please contact the school to schedule an appointment for your child at 463-2213. This process is a screening for children in the area to provide an indication of need of special services before entering kindergarten.
Thanks to TruCommunity Bank for collecting donations of school supplies from Garrison community members! We have them ready for those who need to grab them when they come for Elementary Open House on Wednesday (3-4 pm) or during our first days of school!
Come out to the city park to meet and greet our school staff and enjoy a picnic sponsored by our Garrison Chamber of Commerce happening now!
This Friday the Velva-Garrison-Drake-Anamoose Aggies take on Hazen St 7:00 pm in Garrison. Just like in Velva, there will be a free will offering tailgating meal starting at 5:30. We will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs. The proceeds go to our football program. This week’s sponsor is Northern Plains (Case), Garrison Insurance/West Inkster Realty, and Cenex.
Reminder of Elementary Picture Day in the elementary gym today from 7:30-2:30! They are set up and ready! Use the door directly to the gym! Don’t wear green.
Reminder… there will be another school tour on Tuesday at 6:00 pm starting at the high school. This will allow all an opportunity to see the updates in the schools to make an informed decision on the upcoming bond.

Attention all Jr High and HS Football players: Starting Monday, August 15th, we will leave for Velva on a “normal” school schedule. Bus will leave from the front of the school at 3:00. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Reminder that the school opens at 8:00 (no early bird services this year) and we have fresh fruit and veggie snack but no afternoon milk offered this year. You may pay your lunch fees in either HS or elementary office during office hours.
Cross-country practice starts tomorrow at 9am for grades 7-12. Physicals and fees need to be paid in order to practice.
