The school bond election will be Tuesday, September 6 starting at 7:00 am and closing at 7:00 pm at the high school. If approved, it will take a maximum of $5 million to go towards the building of an activity center, updating current locker rooms, and site improvements (parking lot). Only those who reside in the Garrison school district are eligible to vote. We encourage all those eligible to exercise their right to vote.

Congratulations to the following seniors who were nominated by their class to be the 2022 Homecoming Court. Mia G, Tyler H, Kaitlyn Z, Connor K, TJ S, and Karli K. This years coronation will take place on Sept 15 at the VB game vs Wilton Wing. Homecoming week will be the 19-23. We will have our Homecoming Parade on the 23rd starting about 1:45. More details to come.
The 21-22 Trooper yearbook is available for $40 in the high school office. If you placed an ad where you receive a free yearbook, they will be delivered within the week. Thanks for the support of our Trooper yearbook!

Parent Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled to October 27, 2022 and March 14, 2022 starting at 4:00 pm. This is a change to what was previously listed on our calendar. Please mark these dates down.

We will be offering a screening on Aug. 25 to all children who were 3, 4, or 5 years of age prior to this date. If you are interested, please contact the school to schedule an appointment for your child at 463-2213. This process is a screening for children in the area to provide an indication of need of special services before entering kindergarten.

This Friday the Velva-Garrison-Drake-Anamoose Aggies take on Hazen St 7:00 pm in Garrison. Just like in Velva, there will be a free will offering tailgating meal starting at 5:30. We will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs. The proceeds go to our football program. This week’s sponsor is Northern Plains (Case), Garrison Insurance/West Inkster Realty, and Cenex.
