Dr. K. here…. Our students, staff, and community generally takes great pride in our buildings. However, after the last few home basketball games we’ve found everything from sour cream to wads of chewing tobacco and spit in the bleachers. Not to mention the empty beer cans in the bathroom. Consequently, we do understand some of these things may have come from our opponents. I’m asking all to do their part in helping keep our buildings looking clean by throwing any and all purchased items in one of the many trash receptacles throughout the gym. I would also remind you we are a tobacco and alcohol free campus. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

All, I would like to commend the participants in both concerts today for a job well done along with their dynamic teachers Mrs. Shotts and Mr. Hertz. Unfortunately, tonight’s performance received several “interruptions” from both students along with some parents during the performance. I was unable to attend due to being immobile. I would like to remind all students you are to be seated during events and not roaming making noise in the commons. Parents you are responsible for your children during these events and the burden should not be placed wholly on school staff. In addition, while the performers are performing, please use audience etiquette and wait for stops in play before getting up to move. In the future, if this these disruptions occur, these people will be asked to leave. We should have the utmost respect to those involved in these activities and not have to resort to this given the amount of time and effort the performers have dedicated to these programs. I’m hoping this serves as a reminder for us all to do our part in being a great audience. Respectfully, Dr. K.
