Day 1 of Homecoming at Bob Callies Elementary was so fun! We "Super Dressed to Impress" and were greeted by the Homecoming Court as we entered the school! We took a huge group photo and said the Pledge together in the gym! Five lucky winners were randomly selected to receive gift cards from DQ for their participation in dressing up! Dress up tomorrow with Rhyme without Reason to continue the homecoming school spirit!

Our Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned tomorrow!

Hello! We have Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for October 10 at 3:45-8:00 PM. Once again, we are asking elementary parents to go onto the site to schedule your own conferences during this time. Please use the following link to select your child's teacher(s) and find times that work for you. If you are unable to find times that work for you, please contact your child's teacher. Children who share time in more than one home may have more than one conference, or parents may collaborate to schedule one conference for their shared child, whichever works best for your situation. Here is the link to schedule your conferences: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Bob_Callies_Elementary_School
We hope to see you Oct. 10! High School Conferences will be held at the High School building during the same time, and elementary conferences at the elementary school building.

School will dismiss at approximately 3:00 on Friday, October 4 when the homecoming parade ends. Buses will leave at this time too.

The High School will be holding a career fair today from 12:30-3:00. This will take place on and around the FB field. Some of the presenters will be using sirens and alarms. This is part of the career fair. Thank You!!

Homecoming festivities are just around the corner! Here is some of the fun things that are happening.

Angell, Zachary T. Roberts, Jeffrey D. Gieser, Wayne C. Koster, Jerry Lee Mehlhoff, and Harvey R. Koster. Please join us to thank these men for their service to our country.

JH Football has been postponed due to air quality. They will go to Washburn on Thursday at 6pm. They will go to practice today in Velva

Elementary Families: We know with the varying air quality, we determine indoor vs outdoor recess for our students each day with this as well as our before school time. We track the air quality as needed with AirNow.gov, like other area schools, and follow the guidance for schools posted on their site, which recommends moving recess indoors when the Air Quality Index is in the Unhealthy (red) range. This information is also posted in our Elementary Handbook, under Playground Rules.
